Had the opportunity to spend some time in Grand Isle, LA this past weekend. The "Cajun Riviera" is a top fishing destination that offers so much more than just fishing...but, the fishing is my favorite!
A group of us stayed at the camp "Amazing Grace." Amazing Grace is on the water overlooking Caminada Bay. The camp was very spacious and provided some spectacular sunset views Friday and Saturday evenings.

Sunday morning found me watching the sun rise in thigh to waist deep water as I wade fished the gulf beach. A passerby and his family snapped shot of me with the sunrise in the background. Him and his family were kind enough to share the photo with me. Shout-out of thanks to Bryan Cheramie for the awesome photo!

ReplyDeleteHave a tab open to check out Amazing Grace. Reminds me of the houses we rent in Galveston. Would love to have our own someday, maybe go in on it with my girls and their husbands. Your photos are stunning. Glad you enjoyed some time fishing.
